New Services from Think Bone
Think Bone is now able to offer complete bone histology & histomorphometry packages, and bone microradiography and SXA radiodensitometry packages. As always, the services come with expert advice on using these methods and interpreting the data. Click on the link at left to download an informative brochure. Think Bone is developing a GLP infrastructure and will offer GLP bone histomorphometry and other services beginning in Q2, 2011.
Bone Safety White Paper
Think Bone recently released a white paper entitled Bone Safety - the Problem and the Solution. Increasingly, our projects involve evaluation and problem solving around off-target effects in bone. This paper summarizes the recent literature and suggests some ways to deal proactively with this issue.
Bone Histomorphometry GLP Validation
In collaboration with Osteometrics, Inc. Think Bone has developed a GLP validation package for OsteoMeasureXP - the leading bone histomorphometry system. Publications
Finally! Our manuscript on stimulation of perisoteal bone formation in ovariectomized monkeys by Novartis' Cathepsin-K inhibitor Balicatib has just been accepted by Osteoporosis International. We'll post a link here as soon as it is available.
